Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Implement quality control protocols for rice fortification to ensure compliance with food safety and fortification standards.
∎ Conduct daily monitoring of milling, fortification, and packaging processes to maintain consistent product quality.
∎ Monitor the production process, ensuring correct blending of fortified kernels and uniformity in fortified rice.
∎ Perform regular sampling and testing to verify micronutrient levels.
∎ Address deviations from quality standards and implement corrective actions promptly.
∎ Ensure compliance with national and international food safety regulations, including HACCP and ISO standards.
∎ Collaborate with plant operators to troubleshoot quality issues and drive process improvements.
∎ Review and approve quality documentation, such as inspection records and certificates of analysis.
∎ Lead investigations into quality-related complaints and oversee corrective actions.
∎ Establish and maintain quality benchmarks and KPIs for continuous monitoring and improvement.
