Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Greet and assist customers in a professional and courteous manner.
∎ Manage billing and process all types of payments using the POS system.
∎ Provide product information and help customers make informed purchases.
∎ Promote current offers, featured products, and upcoming stock items.
∎ Process returns and exchanges in line with shop policies as well as align upon customer complaints.
∎ Communicate with 3–4 enterprise partners regarding stock levels and ordering needs.
∎ Place and follow up on orders for products such as dairy, rice, honey, plants, and handmade or herbal items.
∎ Track incoming stock and confirm the quality and quantity of received goods.
∎ Maintain clear records of orders and supplier communication.
∎ Alert management to low-stock items, delivery issues, or inventory discrepancies.
∎ Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the counter and sales floor.
∎ Restock shelves and assist with product display arrangements.
∎ Ensure all products are accurately labelled and priced.
∎ Support inventory checks and routine stock audits.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
