Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters/Bachelors or equivalent degree in Accounting or Finance from any recognized university.
∎ Advanced professional certification in Accounting/Finance will be an added advantage.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 6 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervise and handle all kinds of VAT related activities (VAT software, manufacturing VAT, Trading VAT, duty draw back, Source VAT, Rebate adjustment from exempted product/different transaction voucher and price approval).
∎ Independently attend all kinds of hearing with Divisional Office to VAT appellate Tribunal of VAT Authority on behalf of the company.
∎ Interact with sales/marketing function for tender/export price approval regarding VAT.
∎ Make Correspondence with NBR for changes in any information/rules regarding VAT.
∎ Make correspondence with higher management for VAT planning.
∎ Reconcile the monthly statement with Central accounts regarding VAT for reporting to higher authority.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ 5-6 years of relevant working experience will be required.
∎ Should have Managerial experience in relevant field.
∎ Have a strong negotiation skill as well as co-ordination capability with VAT officials.
∎ Excellent written drafting/oral communication skills (both in English and Bangla) with sound knowledge in MS office package are essential.
∎ The incumbent should be self-driven to work under pressure, result oriented with 'can do' attitude and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
