  • Age At least 30 years
  • Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree from any discipline 

  • Experience: Around 6 - 8 years of experience, preferably in financial services sector Strong understanding of bancassurance business models and insurance products.

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets through partnership channels.

  • Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Strong analytical and business planning capabilities.

  • Ability to lead training initiatives and motivate partner sales teams.

  • Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.



Responsibilities & Context:

1. Bancassurance Business Development

  • Develop and execute bancassurance sales strategies to achieve business targets.

  • Identify growth opportunities within existing banking partnerships and explore new partnership opportunities.

  • Drive sales performance across assigned bank branches and channels.

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.

 

2. Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with bank management, branch managers, and key stakeholders.

  • Act as the primary point of contact between Shanta Life and partner banks.

  • Ensure effective coordination and communication with banking partners to enhance business performance.

  • Resolve partner concerns and maintain high levels of stakeholder satisfaction.

 

3. Sales Performance Management

  • Achieve assigned premium, policy issuance, and revenue targets.

  • Monitor branch-wise sales performance and provide regular business updates.

  • Analyze sales data and implement corrective actions to improve productivity.

  • Ensure effective sales pipeline management and conversion of leads into policy sales.

 

4. Training and Capability Development

  • Conduct product and sales training sessions for bank employees and relationship managers.

  • Develop sales campaigns, product awareness programs, and customer engagement initiatives.

  • Provide ongoing coaching and support to bank staff to enhance insurance selling capabilities.

  • Ensure partner teams remain updated on product features, compliance requirements, and sales processes.

 

5. Customer Acquisition and Service Excellence

  • Support bank branches in identifying customer needs and recommending suitable insurance solutions.

  • Ensure a seamless customer experience throughout the sales and policy issuance process.

  • Work closely with operations and customer service teams to address customer queries and service issues.

  • Promote customer retention and policy persistency initiatives.

 

6. Compliance and Governance

  • Ensure all bancassurance activities comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical sales practices.

  • Maintain accurate sales records, reports, and documentation.

  • Monitor adherence to operational procedures and risk management guidelines.

  • Support internal audits and compliance reviews when required.

 

7. Reporting and Business Analysis

  • Prepare regular sales reports, business reviews, and management presentations.

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement.

  • Provide insights and recommendations to optimize bancassurance performance.

  • Support strategic planning and budgeting activities related to the bancassurance channel.
