∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Airline, Freight forwarding, Logistic/Courier/Air Express Companies
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Regular visit to the prospective cargo agents / forwarders / manufacturers / shippers to secure business and to follow up.
∎ Collect market information and update the findings to the Cargo Sales Manager.
∎ To ensure accepted bookings are inserted into system with proper parameters and details.
∎ Efficient flight planning to utilize the cargo space with good mixture of commodities considering cargo density, thus to contribute in revenue generating on each flight.
∎ Tele sales, mail correspondence with cargo clients, colleagues, HDQ and other stations.
∎ Maximum utilization of cargo space on QR flights with proper yield.
∎ Liaisons with cargo operation staffs and follow up for export shipments.
∎ Execute headquarters circulars and instructions of higher management.
∎ Liaison with Doha space control and other stations.
∎ Tracing cargo movement and follow up discrepancies
∎ Liaison with cargo agents, partners and GHA at the station to maintain high stander of customer service.
∎ To disseminate all cargo related information for updating customers regarding customs, governmental and health authorities' rules and to HO to comply with regulations and to avoid penalties, destruction, etc.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum of 3 years in cargo sales/reservation/customer service/operations in Airline, Freight forwarding, Logistic/Courier/Air Express Companies.
∎ Extensive overall knowledge of all areas of air cargo and tariff.
∎ Must have team building and leadership ability.
∎ Excellent relationship building skills.
∎ Good communication skills in English and other international languages as an advantage.
∎ Able to lead adjust and work with team members and make decisions.
∎ Able to interact and communicate with different level people and multi nationalities.
∎ Ability to Interaction with Senior Managements.
∎ Must be able to handle complaints and discrepancy investigation and action.
