Airline, Freight forwarding, Logistic/Courier/Air Express Companies
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Regular visit to the prospective cargo agents / forwarders / manufacturers / shippers to secure business and to follow up.
∎ Collect market information and update the findings to the Cargo Sales Manager.
∎ Developing new business segments and sales strategies.
∎ Establish the brand image of the organization in market and to develop strategic plans based on industry trend and customer analysis.
∎ Building strong corporate relationships with trade customers.
∎ Handle customer grievances and complaints in a professional way.
∎ Monitor and consolidate customer experiences and feedback from all touch points and to collect and report the findings about the market situation, activities and competition, etc. through effective market intelligence.
∎ Accelerate the sales through sales support activities like analyzing the sales performance, target-achievement variance analysis, market situation, feedback, sales forecasts and preparing various market statistics, etc.
∎ Attend to telephone calls, action telexes, emails, faxes and maintain records, files, documents for administrative/reference purposes
∎ To disseminate all cargo related information to customers/agent, handle queries on tariffs, update freight forwarders/outstation offices on status of offloaded cargo.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 36 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Extensive overall knowledge of all areas of air cargo and tariff.
∎ Must have team building and leadership ability.
∎ Excellent relationship building skills
∎ Good communication skills in English and other international languages as an advantage.
∎ Good understanding of Qatar Airways Conditions of Carriage, International Civil Aviation Safety and Security procedures in accordance with ICAO/QCAR and IATA and local authorities
∎ An overall knowledge of Cargo functions in terms of passenger and baggage handling, weight and balance, D.G.R. etc.
