Responsibilities & Context:
  • Develop and implement R&D strategies aligned with the company’s goals and market trends.

  • Lead, mentor and manage the R&D team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with senior management to define product development priorities and timelines.

  • Oversee the formulation and development of new food products, from ideation through to commercialization.

  • Ensure all new products meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

  • Conduct market research to identify consumer trends and opportunities for new product development.

  • Organize and carryout analytical activities of Raw & Packaging

  • Materials and Finished Products and to ensure quality of Product.

  • Prepare and review SOP’s Specifications and Methods for Raw- Materials, Packaging Materials & Finished Goods etc.

  • Prepare detailed reports for management on quality trends, deviations, and corrective actions.

  • Maintain compliance with regulatory and internal quality documentation requirements.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure products meet food safety standards and regulations (e.g., BSTI, ISO, HALAL & HACCP).

  • Conduct Training to develop and coach Quality Assurance staff through proper coaching, training and counselling to ensure uniform interpretation and application of standards and procedures.

  • Take overall Quality Control and R&D responsibilities of the plant.

  • Others relevant assign job from management.
