Job Context:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Establish and maintain quality standards of international standards and JCI standards,
∎ Monitoring and educating the food and beverage service staff for handling patients, patients' attendants, visitors and VIP's,
∎ Monitoring and directly coordinating with executive chef, dietitians and subordinates,
∎ Improve customer focus of food and beverage staff and provide staff training on customer focus as required,
∎ Ensure effective work processes are established for food and beverage services, including,
∎ Catering services with menu and food preparation and presentation, stock control, storage and waste disposal,
∎ Ensure up keeping Kitchen cleanliness and floor pantries,
∎ Taking feedback from the floor nurses, dietitians and the patient/patients' attendants and report to the,Asst.General Manager F & B Service after analyzing,
∎ Analyzing the monthly cafeteria comments and reporting it to GM-HS,
∎ Maintaining daily check list and keeping in file for further reference,
∎ Meeting with AGM-F&B, executive chef housekeeping manager and laundry supervisor on a two days week basis to discuss daily activities, compliments and complaints,
∎ Handling all patient and customer complains about food and beverage services and taking action immediately as required,
∎ Actively participate in continuous improvement processes and undertake and/or participate in audits, patient surveys and evaluations to provide feedback for continuous improvement,
∎ Documentation of all incidents, compliments and complaints related to food and beverage service,
∎ Develop new idea for better and smooth service to increase customer satisfaction,
∎ Directly coordinating with the General Manager materials with the approve AGM - F&B and service provider for any new service or equipment implementation,
∎ Handling subordinate's duty rosters and personal matters such as leave, absenteeism, complains and etc.
∎ Develop strong relationships with the entire head of departments and service staff to get full support for ensuring the quality services,
∎ Need to liaise with the Manager, Engineering regarding any maintenance requirements as well other members of the EHD management team,
∎ To ensure that the staffing levels are correct and to agreed standards of each meal periods,
∎ To ensure that hospital hygiene standards are maintained in all areas,
∎ To ensure that staff a ware of fire and evacuation drill,
∎ To effectively carry out service recovery when attending to customer complains,
∎ To develop and maintained a complete set of operational procedures for all major systems and equipment.
∎ Maintain strict inventory and purchase control,
∎ Coordinate with human resource regarding pre screening of employees and indicating staffing needs,
∎ Providing the yearly Food and Beverage operation budget,
∎ To ensure that the most suitably qualified person is appointed in the event of a vacancy - wherever possible this should be an internal promotion,
∎ To make sure that all documents related to operation of the department are kept up to date and that all records are correctly maintained and filed.
∎ Additional Job Responsibilities:
∎ Hospital IPD & OPD area round,
∎ Finding problems and take immediate action,
∎ Follow up and implementing any new instruction which will be given by the General Manager Hospitality Service,
∎ To visit all V.I.P Guest in wards,
∎ To ensure there is proper coordination with chef and dietitians on daily operational matters,
∎ Maintaining proper cleanliness in the kitchen and service areas,
∎ Maintaining daily check list,
∎ Project works:
∎ Responsible for any new assignment or project which will be given by the AGM F&B,
∎ On going development of new service initiatives,
∎ Assist the AGM - F&B to design, implement and monitor departmental quality assurance programs consistent with guidelines established by the CEO and the Board of Directors.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 5-7 years experience in Food & Beverage function, preferable from Hospital.
∎ Age Limit: 40 years
∎ Technical Competencies:
∎ Working experience in any hospital will get preference,
∎ Advanced level of interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team,
∎ Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in English and Bangla,
