Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years experience as Lab Manager in any reputed hospital or Diagnostic.
∎ Master's degree in Biochemistry / a scientific discipline / related field.
∎ Strong understanding of laboratory safety and regulatory requirements.
∎ In-depth knowledge of laboratory equipment and procedures.
∎ Proficiency with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).

Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee the daily operations of the laboratory to ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols.
∎ Develop and implement Laboratory policy, SOP and safety guidelines for error less diagnostic reports.
∎ Perform routine analysis of laboratory results to ensure quality standards are met.
∎ Maintain a clean, safe work environment, comply with safety policies and dispose of waste according to local, state, and federal regulations.
∎ Manage a team of laboratory technicians and consultants, providing guidance / liaison and support when needed.
∎ Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, arranging for repairs and replacements when necessary.
∎ Monitor and enforce compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
∎ Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
∎ Collaborate with other departments to integrate laboratory activities with organizational objectives.
∎ Manage laboratory budgets, including procurement of materials and allocation of resources.
∎ Prepare and deliver reports on laboratory performance to senior management.
∎ Train and mentor new & existing laboratory staff to ensure competence and understanding SOP.
∎ Continuously seek opportunities for improvement in laboratory processes and procedures.
