Experience:

• MBBS from a recognized institution is required.

• Valid BMDC certification is must.

• Minimum 03 years of experience as EMO in any reputed hospital.

• Provide immediate medical attention to emergency and trauma patients.

• Perform initial assessment, stabilization and management of critically ill patients.

• Ensure quick diagnosis and initiation of treatment for life-threatening conditions like cardiac arrest, stroke, accident, poisoning, etc.

• Carry out minor surgical / emergency procedures (suturing, wound dressing, catheterization, intubation, CPR, IV line, etc.).

• Refer patients to specialized departments after stabilization.

• Maintain proper patient documentation (case history, treatment given, investigations advised, referral notes).

• Communicate with patients’ relatives regarding condition, treatment plan and necessary referrals.

• Liaise with consultants, surgeons, anesthetists and specialists when advanced care is required.

• Coordinate with diagnostic teams (radiology, pathology, lab) for urgent test reports.

• Maintain proper records of special cases like accidents, assaults, poisoning, burns, etc. as per hospital policy.

• Ensure proper documentation for death cases and issue medical certificates where applicable.

• Maintain duty roster and attend duty on time.

• Maintain proper handover of patients during shift changes.

• Participate in hospital meetings, trainings, seminars, medical camps etc.
