∎ Additional qualification as CA Advanced level candidate or Certification on Credit Skill Assessment (CSA) will be considered as an added advantage.

Job Context:
∎ The incumbent will be responsible to assist Group Head of Enterprise Risk Management (GHoERM) with the implementation of the Operational Risk Management Framework, with a specific focus on risk analysis across the organization. This job role offers an exciting opportunity to learn risk in a holistic way across the organization and grow as a risk professional.
∎ Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) at IDLC comprises of two (2) wings i.e. Operational Risk Management (ORM) & Financial Risk Management (FRM).
∎ Operational Risk Management (ORM) deals with the risk of a change in value caused by the fact that actual losses incurred for inadequate or failed internal processes, people and systems, or from external events. Operational Risk Management (ORM) proactively assists the businesses, operations & technology, and support functions in enhancing the effectiveness of controls and managing operational risks across products, business lines and regions.
∎ Financial Risk Management (FRM) is responsible for ensuring effective and integrated risk management framework for IDLC and monitoring & setting strategy for the organization wide Financial & other Risk Management e.g. Credit, Market, Liquidity, Reputation, Strategic, Climate/Environment/Social, Model, Legal & compliance Risk, Risk Research & Policy Governance.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supporting in setting, developing, communicating and monitoring policy, procedures, framework & toolkits on Operational Risk (OR) and Operational Risk (OR) mitigates across the IDLC Group under Operational Risk Policy.
∎ Identify, review, analyze and manage operational risks in all products, businesses & support units of IDLC Group to determine significant risks that need to be reported to relevant risk management committees. Review of audit reports / clients complaints to identify/review OR issues (if any).
∎ Conducting independent process diagnosis (Process Risk Analysis – PRA & SOP Gap Analysis) of existing work process of each unit/department across the organization. Also identify the process improvement areas that have direct/indirect implication on operational risk concerns and analyze the best industry / global practices in Operational Risk Management.
∎ Monitoring regular risk reporting through ORM KPI, Risk Control Indicators (RCI), Risk & Control Self – Assessment (RCSA) / Risk Register (RR) by respective unit and suggest mitigations.
∎ Preparing & maintaining different Monthly Dashboards/MIS/ Operational loss database for stakeholders.
∎ Supporting Business Continuity Plan (BCP) Drill management, Country wide Top Operational Risk management and ORM software/toolkits development initiative.
∎ Conducting Branch Process Risk Analysis (BPRA), Periodic sample testing (including branch visit /client visit if required) to identify OR issues as per Management requirements.
∎ Conducting periodic meeting of different Operational Risk Management Forums & monitoring resolutions till implementation.
∎ Conducting training / awareness program on Operational Risk issues across the organization.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 26 years
∎ Preferably 3 to 4 years’ experience in Risk Management Department (RMD)/audit firm/ internal audit/ external audit/ accounting/ country’s laws and regulations and compliance related services.
∎ Superior problem solving, analytical, presentation and interpersonal skills
∎ Analytical inquisitiveness and problem solving ability; an ability to ask insightful questions, break analytical challenges into workable components and draw meaningful conclusions
∎ Excellent oral and written communication skills. Can communicate complex ideas simply and compellingly
∎ Drive and determination
