• Leadership and team management skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Workplace: Borobari, Gazipur, Willingness and ability to stay near the factory location.

Job Context:

Bang Jin Bangladesh Ltd. is seeking dynamic, motivated, and highly skilled professionals for the position of Assistant Manager in the Electrical Maintenance Department. The ideal candidates will oversee and manage electrical maintenance activities, ensuring the efficient operation of electrical systems, minimizing downtime and enhancing the overall productivity of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Machinery & Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of all electrical systems, machinery and equipment by conducting regular inspections to identify potential issues.

• Uptime & Preventive Maintenance: Minimize production downtime by maintaining uptime levels below approved target levels through regular and preventive maintenance activities.

• Spare Parts Management: Oversee the availability and consumption of spare parts, ensuring minimum repair and maintenance expenses and reducing downtime caused by spare parts unavailability.

• Power & Utility Management: Ensure uninterrupted power supply, manage utility costs, and lower per-unit power costs. Reduce downtime caused by power supply issues.

• New Project Execution: Develop and execute plans for electrical power systems, installation, and machine commissioning for new projects.

• Vendor & Supplier Management: Oversee the procurement of parts and services by managing relationships with external vendors, suppliers and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective services.

• Budget Management: Collaborate with the finance department to develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

• Supplier Support: Correspond with machine suppliers to obtain necessary technical support, ensuring minimal machine downtime and smooth operations.

• Factory Performance: Ensure that the factory’s performance parameters meet the target levels of conversion cost, contributing to overall operational success.

• Performance-based yearly salary increments.

• Two annual festival bonuses (Two Eid).
