• B.Sc. in Textile Engineering or Apparel Manufacturing preferred.

• Professional certification in CAD/CAM will be considered an added advantage.

• The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Cutting, CAD, Knit Garments.

• In-depth knowledge of Knit fabrics (Jersey, Rib, Interlock, Fleece, etc.) and their shrinkage/spirality behavior.

• Strong analytical skills regarding fabric consumption and marker efficiency.

• Production Planning: Prepare and execute daily cutting plans based on the sewing floor requirement and shipment deadlines.

• Fabric Optimization: Analyze consumption and ensure maximum fabric utilization. Monitor and control "End-Bits" and "Re-cutting" to keep wastage within the approved percentage.

• Technical Oversight: Supervise CAD operations, including pattern digitizing, grading, and marker making for maximum efficiency.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of spread, cut-parts, and numbering/bundling. Implement a "Zero-Defect" policy in the cutting room.

• Team Leadership: Manage and motivate a large team of supervisors, spreaders, and cutters. Ensure strict adherence to health and safety (OHS) guidelines.

• Reporting: Maintain all cutting-related documentation and provide daily production/wastage reports to the Management and Planning departments.

• Process Improvement: Implement Lean manufacturing techniques to reduce lead time and improve workflow.
