Educational Requirements:
∎ The candidate must have Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance and others similar discipline preferable in CACC / ICMAB (Part one) with minimum 2nd class or equivalent CGPA 2.50 in all academic examinations
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure costs for the organisation’s products and services are allocated according to corporate procedures and in compliance financial accounting standards
∎ Ensure cost control system, manage and interpret cost audits and prepare cost accounting report for the presentation to top management and managing batch costing of factory
∎ Gather historical cost data (materials, labor, depreciation, operating expenses etc.) to compare budgets with actual expenses
∎ Accumulate budget proposals from department, check authentication and execute completion of master budget
∎ Analyse monthly process loss, product costing, budget and cost variance and balance sheet of BDFP
∎ Review costs for all external inventory, labor, and material purchases and determine costs and efficiency of organisation purchasing activities
∎ Manage budgets based on authority levels and limits and taking necessary actions to control and reduce cost
∎ Support month end closing by ensuring that all expenses and provisions are booked to appropriate accounts
∎ Prepare monthly management accounts and performance management report
∎ Implement monitoring and control of budget through timely reporting and meeting with departmental heads
∎ Prepare variance analysis reports and investigate the reason for cost control purpose and to make recommendations
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
∎ Perform any other task as and when required by the management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 18 to 35 years
∎ Age, education and experience may be relaxed in case of potential candidates
∎ Must have Knowledge of accountancy, financial acts & rules, bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
∎ Must have knowledge on preparation of product costing and budgeting
∎ Must be able to think strategically and carry out assigned tasks independently
∎ Must have computer literacy and experience in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite
∎ Must have advanced communication skill both in written and oral, interpersonal skills, strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
∎ Must have problem solving, motivational and people management skills
∎ Must be able to contribute effectively as part of a team, flexible and multi-tasking
∎ Must have to work under pressure in a challenging environment
