Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from a reputed University.
Partly qualified CA / ACCA / CMA will be considered an advantage.
4–7 years of relevant experience in airline, GSA, or aviation-related accounts & finance.
Mandatory hands-on experience in airline fund management, settlement, reconciliation, and remittance under an IATA sales model or airline-direct sales model.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of airline revenue accounting and settlement cycles
Practical experience in passenger & cargo revenue reconciliation
High level of accuracy, integrity, and financial discipline

We are a professionally managed General Sales Agent (GSA) representing a reputed Middle East–based international airline for Passenger and Cargo operations in Bangladesh. As part of strengthening our financial governance and airline settlement processes, we are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – Accounts & Finance with strong exposure to airline fund management, settlement, and remittance operations.
Position Overview
The Assistant Manager – Accounts & Finance will be responsible for overall supervision of GSA financial operations, ensuring accurate accounting, strict fund control, and timely remittance of airline revenues in line with agency agreements, airline finance manuals, and settlement schedules applicable to non-IATA GSA operations.
Key Responsibilities
To oversee day-to-day accounts & finance operations related to airline passenger and cargo sales.
To ensure proper collection, custody, and remittance of airline funds within agreed settlement timelines.
To supervise airline sales reconciliation (passenger & cargo) against system reports and bank collections.
To prepare airline settlement statements, revenue summaries, and remittance schedules.
To monitor cash flow, bank balances, and fund utilization related to airline operations.
To ensure compliance with airline GSA agreements, finance manuals, and audit requirements.
To coordinate with airline finance teams, banks, auditors, and internal departments.
To review monthly accounts, MIS, and management reports.
To support internal and airline audits, inspections, and financial reviews.
To guide and supervise team-mates and ensure proper documentation and controls.
