∎ Age 28 to 35 years
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Prepare pre-costing and post-costing sheets for each order and style.
∎ Analyze variances between projected and actual costs, identifying reasons for discrepancies.
∎ Collaborate with IE and Merchandising teams to calculate style-wise factory CM and optimize cost structures.
∎ Assist in the preparation of master budgets for different departments.
∎ Monitor budget adherence and issue variance reports with justifications.
∎ Lead budgeting processes by compiling data from various departments to create comprehensive forecasts.
∎ Monitor SMV, WIP status, production bottlenecks, and wastage.
∎ Review reports on yarn and fabric consumption, dyeing losses, process rejects, and quality rework costs.
∎ Prepare monthly MIS reports, including order closing reports, style-wise profitability, and order P&L.
∎ Analyze trends in CM, capacity utilization, and factory overheads, suggesting cost-saving measures.
∎ Work with merchandising for cost sheet updates, with IE for SMV and efficiency data, and with procurement for price validations.
∎ Liaise with the audit team to validate costing controls and compliance.
∎ Assist in monitoring inventory flow to minimize holding costs.
∎ Validate closing stock values with the finance team and support annual stock-taking.
∎ Support the implementation of ERP modules for costing and production.
∎ Participate in lean cost initiatives and value engineering projects.
