  • Age At most 35 years

Experience: Teaching experiences in the related field will be given preference.  

Age: The age limit for the applicant would be maximum 35 years. Management has the right to make exceptions based on qualifications and experience. 

Others:

  • Proficient in MS Office package.

  • Excellent communication skills in English and Bangla.

  • Skills on online platforms and developing digital content.

  • Track record in working with curriculum and learning materials development.

  • NTRCA/ NTVQF certification would be added advantage.



Responsibilities & Context:

Nature of Job: Project Staff

Job Location: UCEP Sylhet Region/Anywhere in Bangladesh.

Job Responsibilities:

  • To contribute implementing UCEP Bangladesh’s values, vision, mission and goals, and development of future strategy documents as needed.

  • To strengthen the interactive Teaching-learning process through using the trade-related Lab.

  • To Develop Digital teaching-learning materials for effective understanding of the subject matter.

  • To make the classrooms more interesting for students through digital teaching and learning materials.

  • To achieve higher performance in academic assessment.

  • To build the capacity of the teachers to develop and use digital teaching learning materials.

  • To introduce relevant tech-based initiatives for the 4IR.

  • To provide high-quality teaching as per the approved curricula.

  • To assist to contribute in maintaining program database and reporting e.g. monthly report, progress report etc.

  • To provide skills training as a short course as per target.

  • To conduct regular formative and summative assessments of the students for tracking their progress and development.

  • To assist to prepare and implementing lesson plans using innovative and interactive methodologies for effective teaching-learning in accordance with national competencies and approved syllabus.

  • To assist and prepare business plan and provide support to the Head of Technical for local resource mobilization for sustainability.

  • To assist to carry out marketing and mobilization activities for admission of eligible students as per target of the schools.

  • To collaborate with the Social Inclusion team for scouting of eligible students to ensure student engagement in Child Council activities.

  • To assist to maintain all documents (electronic and hardcopy) e.g. admission register, attendance register, follow-up sheets, lesson plans, materials distribution, tabulation etc., relevant to the education program.

  • To assist to ensure at least 90% students’ attendance and 95% completion rate through an attractive, interactive, enjoyable and child-friendly teaching-learning process.

  • To assist to ensure effective social work (counseling, motivation, home visit etc.) supports for the overall development of the students.

  • To assist to conduct co-curricular activities and events following academic calendar of the school.

  • To maintain and store the classroom equipment, furniture, materials, and supplies properly

  • To identify the low-achievers and support them for reaching required standards.

  • To assist in organizing any indoor and outdoor events of the UCEP Bangladesh’s education program.

  • To assist to improve the standard of education service as a member of UCEP Bangladesh.

  • To carry out any other relevant tasks assigned by the supervisor as and when necessary.

Job Other Benifits:

    Monthly Salary: BDT. 20,000/- (Consolidated). All applicable taxes will be deducted as per the organizational/project policies and relevant country laws.

    Compensation & Benefits: As per project provision and UCEP policy.
