Job Summary:
The AGM–Marketing will play a critical leadership role in developing and executing marketing strategies to strengthen brand positioning, expand market share, and drive demand for agrochemical products across Bangladesh. The role requires a deep understanding of rural markets, dealer networks, and crop-based promotional activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Marketing & Planning
Develop annual and seasonal marketing plans based on crop cycles (Boro, Aman, Rabi, etc.).
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and farmer demand patterns.
Align marketing strategies with sales targets and business objectives.
Branding & Product Positioning
Build strong brand presence in the competitive agrochemical market.
Ensure proper branding on packaging, labels, and promotional materials.
Develop product positioning strategies tailored to local crops and regions.
Product Marketing & Launch
Plan and execute new product launches (imported pesticides, fungicides, etc.).
Prepare product literature, technical guides, and usage instructions in Bangla.
Coordinate with regulatory authorities for compliance and approvals.
Dealer & Distributor Engagement
Design trade marketing programs, incentives, and seasonal schemes.
Maintain strong relationships with dealers and distributors nationwide.
Support sales teams to enhance channel performance.
Field Marketing, Farmers’ Meeting & FMC Activities
Plan and execute Farmers’ Meetings (group meetings) to educate farmers on product usage and benefits.
Design and implement FMC (Field Marketing Campaign / Farmer Marketing.
Communication) programs to drive awareness and demand at the grassroots level.
Organize field demonstrations, plot trials, and field days to showcase product effectiveness.
Conduct crop-based campaigns during peak seasons to maximize farmer reach.
Collaborate with agronomists and field officers to ensure correct technical messaging.
Monitor the effectiveness of FMC activities and optimize based on field feedback.
Advertising & Promotion
Plan and execute ATL/BTL campaigns (digital, rural activation, TV, radio).
Develop marketing materials: leaflets, banners, signboards, demo kits.
Participate in agricultural fairs and local market activations.
Market Intelligence
Monitor competitor pricing, product performance, and promotional strategies.
Collect field feedback from farmers, dealers, and sales teams.
Provide actionable insights to management.
Budget & Team Management
Manage marketing budget efficiently, ensuring ROI.
Lead and mentor marketing and field teams.
Coordinate with sales, supply chain, and regulatory departments.
