Minimum 10–12 years of relevant experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior managerial role in a Group of Companies.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and corporate finance.
Proven leadership and team management capability.
High level of integrity, analytical ability, and attention to detail.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Responsibilities & Context: 1. Financial Management & Reporting
- Supervise and control the overall accounting functions of all concerns under the Group.
- Ensure proper maintenance of books of accounts in compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory requirements.
- Monitor financial transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
- Establish and enforce internal financial controls, policies, and procedures across the Group.
- Should have sound knowledge and competences to prepare and reengineering of financial statements of the listed companies.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, half yearly, yearly financial statements and timely submit to the RJSC&F, NBR, DSE, CSE, BSEC and other regulatory bodies.
- Ensure timely submission of management reports, MIS, cash flow statements, and variance analyses.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to Management for strategic decision-making.
- Should have adequate knowledge in Equity finance, Debt finance and foreign finance.
2. Budgeting & Forecasting
- Coordinate preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts for all group companies.
- Monitor budget performance and analyze variances with corrective recommendations.
- Assist Management in financial planning and cost control initiatives.
3. Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all tax laws including Income Tax, VAT, Customs Duty, and other applicable regulations.
- Supervise preparation and submission of statutory returns, tax computations, and assessments.
- Liaise with tax authorities, auditors, BSEC, DSE, CSE and regulatory bodies as required.
4. Audit & Compliance
- Coordinate internal and external audits of all group concerns.
- Ensure timely completion of audit queries and implementation of audit recommendations.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and governance standards.
5. Team Leadership & Coordination
- Lead, supervise, and evaluate the performance of the Central Accounts team.
- Provide guidance, training, and performance monitoring of finance personnel across group companies.
- Ensure effective coordination between Central Accounts and individual concern accounts teams.
