Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Monitor live alarms and operations of the end-to-end IPTV system like Headend, Middleware, TV mosaic, HLS probe and delivery network 24/7 on a roster basis. Report and Fix any content acquisition, Transcoding, Transport, Delivery, Servers, CDN and Web Services.
∎ Responsible for the surveillance of multiple video systems across multiple geographical areas.
∎ Logical troubleshooting processes and implements documented break/fix actions. Responsible for testing, and maintaining video services applications, CDN, VOD, and Broadcast services.
∎ Escalates difficult issues requiring higher skills levels to Video/Network Engineers within team.
∎ Critical thinking skills to diagnose video impairments and implement documented break-fix measures. Works closely with the Video/Network Operations and cross-functional teams to solve customer impacting conditions.
∎ Coordinate with local and international partner for any QoS issues.
∎ Supports operational efficiencies and network performance improvements through proactive monitoring.
∎ QoS report preparation, analysis and escalate for any anomalies.
∎ Inform stakeholders about all planed and scheduled work within the network and follow up accordingly.
∎ Record all call failure causes and send those reports asking for clarification to the respective stakeholders.
