Job Responsibilities:
∎ Project Implementation & Management of Field-Level Activities 50%
∎ Ensure providing support to the implementation of capacity development-related components of the project;
∎ Organize the project inception meeting with different-level stakeholders.
∎ Assist the project team to provide technical support in arranging and facilitating training-related activities and mobilization at the community level;
∎ Form and make functional Self-help groups and adolescent clubs ensuring materials;
∎ Organize Capacity development training for all the project participants and group leaders
∎ Facilitate Capacity development training for all the project participants and group leaders
∎ Training follow-up, hands-on training at the HH level, and training refreshers
∎ Develop Modules for different types of training for capacity development on IGA, group management, leadership, financial management, savings and so on
∎ Organize training sessions for different categories of IGA skill development according to the beneficiary's interest.
∎ Develop Concept Notes for the training arrangements
∎ Arrange TOT at the local level
∎ Prepare content for training for the self-help group members and child clubs
∎ Selection through finalizing training participants given training/session topic/content
∎ Arrange awareness sessions on health, WASH, nutrition and disaster risk reduction according to the plan.
∎ Facilitate awareness sessions on social rights and entitlement issues.
∎ Arrange awareness sessions on demerits of early marriage, SRHR, hygiene, and other relevant topics for child clubs
∎ Assist in vocational training for Selected project participants;
∎ Facilitate different types of training arranged at different levels (community, UNO or DC office)
∎ Arrange different types of meetings with different stakeholders, service providers, and duty-bearers.
∎ Facilitate community consultation meetings, CBO meetings, awareness sessions, and community-based women's group meetings
∎ Assist in the phase-out meeting and lesson-learned workshop for further organizational development.
∎ Support to ensure the selection of beneficiaries according to criteria defined in the proposal and validate it by respective authorities.
∎ Selection of beneficiaries, community needs assessment and skill capacity analysis of the beneficiary.
∎ Support the formation process of community-based women groups & guiding them to using their potential in a development manner
∎ Facilitate women's group-led savings and financial management
∎ Conduct livelihood analysis at the household level and develop individual business plans;
∎ Follow up on IGA progress through monitoring regularly.
∎ Provide necessary support to ensure Child rights and child protection for a project participant
∎ Support establishment of APEX body, make a functioning, facilitation of community development planning process and community-led initiatives.
∎ Develop the work plan and carry out all activities accordingly & track the progress of project activities
∎ Support for ensuring Complaints & Feedback Mechanism (CFM), Child Protection, Safeguarding & Gender Sensitivity issues with project activities

∎ Advocacy, Networking and Communication 20%
∎ Create linkages with Union Parishad & Upazila, LGIs to bring the project participants under various Govt. social protection schemes (eg; Safety Net support);
∎ Create linkage with employers & entrepreneurs for job placement of the selected girls;
∎ Strengthen existing community groups & networks
∎ Establish linkage with local service providers;
∎ Enhance market linkage and value addition;
∎ Collect successful project completion letters from relevant authorities.
∎ Organize Advocacy and awareness sessions/workshops on existing laws and policies on preventing Early marriage including duty bearers at the Upazila level (LGIs, Govt. representatives, teachers, faith leaders, marriage registers)
∎ Organize day celebration of child rights week, Int. girl child day, women's Day and so on.
∎ Organize awareness campaigns on child rights/protection, early marriage, and GBV at the community level
∎ Develop networks on child rights at the Upazila level to stop early marriage;



∎ Reporting and Documentation 15%
∎ Support supervisor to prepare monthly, quarterly, interim and final narrative reports as per the proposal and project needs.
∎ Prepare event reports of different project activities
∎ Develop a report for various organized training and awareness sessions
∎ Collect the most significant case stories from the field and prepare a learning document;
∎ Prepare the bill & check the bill vouchers as required to send to finance.
∎ Prepare or collect media & communication materials (Photographs, Case studies, etc.) required to ensure project visibility
∎ Assist in archiving the project documents (hard copy and electronic copy) as per IR guidelines.

∎ Monitoring & Evaluation and Knowledge Management 10%
∎ Monitor group progress after training/sessions and facilitate proper functioning.
∎ Arrange refresher training depending on the time frame of the project
∎ Conduct group assessment and support to deal with gaps
∎ Arrange refreshers among group meetings and child clubs
∎ Conduct regular group meetings for getting and sharing updates on progress and facilitate learnings and experiences sharing within the group and prepare the next plan for action.
∎ Assist to develop training modules on child rights, life skills (focusing on SRHR), child participation, child protection, leadership and psycho-social
∎ Regularly review the existing guidelines and add new ones as necessary to ensure compliance with legislation or where desirable as good practice.
∎ Assist to develop awareness campaign materials on early marriage
∎ Develop guidelines & ToR for community-based child protection mechanism
∎ Develop an Information sheet of discussion topics/contents for Child Club and SHG

∎ Other requirements 5%
∎ Ensure that local purchases and expenditures are done following IRB policy;
∎ Participate & involve with seasonal programs (Ramadan, Qurbani, Winterization etc.) activities.
∎ Support in the procurement of materials like requisition, follow-up etc.
∎ Facilitate donor/external visits and ensure that recommendations of visitors are addressed.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, exploitation, Fraud, Bribery & Money Laundering to achieve the program's goals of safeguarding implementation and as well as Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on the safeguarding of harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation, Fraud, Bribery & Money Laundering for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Being a member of Islamic Relief as a child-friendly organization, it is the core responsibility and obligation of each staff member to understand and obey the IR Child Protection & PSEA Policy and respond accordingly as and when required.
∎ Willing and able to travel frequently for extended periods and to remote areas of the projects.
∎ Perform any other duties as per need of the project implementation.
