  • Sound knowledge of regional geography and local market dynamics

  • Proficient in MS Office tools; ability to use CRM tools is a plus

  • Must be willing to travel extensively within the assigned territory



Responsibilities & Context:

The Area Sales Manager (ASM) – Three Wheeler is responsible for achieving sales targets, developing and managing dealer networks, and driving brand growth in the assigned territory. The ASM plays a key role in executing field-level sales strategies and ensuring effective customer engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for three-wheelers in the assigned area.
  • Ensure consistent sales growth through new dealer development and strengthening existing networks.
  • Identify, appoint, and support dealers and sub-dealers to ensure adequate market coverage.
  • Build strong business relationships with channel partners through regular visits, communication, and performance monitoring.
  • Assist dealers with inventory planning, display setup, and promotional execution.
  • Explore new market opportunities in untapped or low-performing regions.
  • Conduct local market surveys to gather competitor data and customer insights.
  • Organize and participate in roadshows, product demonstrations, and customer meets.
  • Ensure high-quality customer interactions and after-sales follow-up.
  • Handle customer complaints and coordinate with service teams for resolution.
  • Submit daily/weekly/monthly sales reports, market intelligence, and competitor activity updates.
