∎ The candidate should have experience in sales / dealer sales preferably in Battery, IPS, Tyre and Lubricants Industry.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Manage sales team efficiently to ensure product lifting of dealers and distributors in all segments as per daily, weekly, monthly and yearly targets.
∎ Assist Head of Sales and Marketing to plan and monitor sales and market development, achieve sales target along with collection in time and ensure profitability as per business plan and provide inputs and analysis.
∎ Plan, coordinate and ensure sales channel activation & expansion strategy for dealers.
∎ Responsible for efficient distribution, adequate distribution reach, creating new customer base.
∎ Spot out Dealer channel gaps and scrutinize reasons of channel gaps to set milestones of channel activation and expansion in line with business growth objectives.
∎ Ensure demand generation, roll out consumer engagement & marketing activities.
∎ Handling complaints and follow-ups for customer satisfaction.
∎ Ensure distribution mapping, extension of distribution coverage and sales growth for all segments and Identify the ways to increase primary and secondary sales.
∎ Manage sales team of respective location and make the team members accountable for the overall business growth and sustainability through revenue generation, profit maximization and gaining market share.
∎ Monitor regular market and customer visit of team members to maximize productivity in respect of revenue generation and expansion of Dealer channel.
∎ Team Development and ensure continuous improvement in productivity.
∎ Reporting on market intelligence, market development and recommendations for sales improvement on regular basis.
∎ Ensure strict compliance to all sales, warranty, legal, trade and finance related activities.
∎ Ensuring active involvement in cycle planning activities.
∎ Ensure effective value propositions to the Dealer channel partners to win their credibility in business operation.
∎ Context:
∎ The Job holder needs to involve in aspects of Leadership, Sales & Marketing, Dealer & Distributor Management, Trade Marketing, Demand generation, Merchandizing and Market Development. The role is often challenging, varied and exciting, will have to conduct regular market visit, effective trade relationship and constant follow-up of the market dynamics to ensure strong dealer sales management. The position holder needs to propose effective value propositions and motivate his channel partner over market competition.
