Job Responsibilities:
∎ To lead the Area Programme team in order to achieve the organizational Vision, Mission and Program Objectives.
∎ To enhance professional, spiritual and conceptual competencies of Area Programme team members and ensure on-going coaching for performance.
∎ To ensure timely and cost effective implementation of Technical Program & CESP, PNS and Grant interventions in line with WVB and donor policies and standards
∎ To ensure high standard of stewardship in resource mobilization, allocation, utilization in compliance with WV Financial Policies and procedures.
∎ To ensure effective communication that ensures timely flow of information among AP Office, Area Coordination Office, Cluster Office, National Office, Support Office, Government and Non-Government Offices.
∎ To identify and manage implementing partners (VDC, Child Forum, CHAT/ Faith Leaders, Local Government Authority) and ensure partners have the necessary capacity to implement TPs and CESP as per agreed plan and MoU
∎ To establish and strengthen network, collaboration, partnership with government, non-government organizations, CBOs, Churches and Faith Based Organizations.
∎ To ensure effective communication with District/ Upazila administration, other GO, NGO, AP Team, ACO, Cluster, National Office, Support Office following protocol and through proper channel.
∎ To identify potential Innovation area, conduct piloting and scale up with management & technical concern.
∎ To ensure regular monitoring of program implementation, monitoring data analyzed and follow-up actions are on track.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 28 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Clear Understanding on LEAP-3, Country strategy, DPA and TPs has to work on.
∎ Strong organizational and management skills, with proven track record of managing people.
∎ Strong problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills
∎ Good knowledge and skills in forecasting and budgeting
∎ Ability to demonstrate Servant leadership and foster a team oriented atmosphere.
∎ Strong facilitation skill
∎ Proven management and leadership ability
∎ Advocacy, partnering and networking skill
∎ Good command in English & Bengali, both written and verbal
∎ Decision making and conflict resolution skills
∎ Knowledge on resource acquisition, project monitoring, quality and able to write report
∎ Ability to articulate Technical Project learnings clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
∎ Competent in using MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint presentation
∎ Ability to work under stressful condition and adaptive to local culture and situation
∎ Minimum of 3 years working experiences in project management
∎ People management experience.
∎ Must be willing and able to travel nationally up to 12 weeks per annum.
∎ Some project locations may be in remote areas. Staff is expected to live in the location.
Salary: Tk. 80000 - 90000 (Monthly)
