Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's degree in any discipline preferably in social science.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
2 years practical working experience as a Area Manager, or 5 years practical working experience as a Branch Manager
Job Context:
∎ Social Advancement Through Unity (SATU) is a National level development organization established in 1991. SATU is implementing different development projects in Bangladesh. Now SATU is going to recruit some skilled, energetic & qualified person as Area Managers, Grade: 7.2 at ongoing microcredit program.
∎ The job locations for selected candidates will be in Tangail and adjacent districts.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare Annual action Plan and budget according to organizational target and implement the activities as per plan
∎ Provides Technical & Managerial support to BM as per organizational policy.
∎ Regular effective group (Somity) visit and checking passbook, loan application, household visit of beneficiaries and propose and ongoing project
∎ Checking collection sheets of all COs, collection amount, targeted savings and loan disbursement during visit the Branch Offices etc.
∎ Find out and selects the new entrepreneur for enlisting with the program.
∎ Checking the approved all bill/vouchers and cashbook, ledger book and others necessary registers and through Microfin360 software.
∎ Prepare and checking AIS and MIS report of the Branch.
∎ Take proper action to recovery dues loan and regular communication with defaulter members and instruct and guide to the Branch Manager and COs'.
∎ Take measures to prevent new dues and expansion of the program.
∎ Maintain organizational policies and procedures for the smooth functioning of the programs.
∎ Maintaining liaison with the local elite, UP representatives, govt. Official and other development organizations.
∎ Perform any other job responsibilities assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ 2 years practical working experience as a Area Managerr 5 years practical working experience as a Branch Manager, especially in PKSF funded microcredit program or 2 years practical working experience as a Area Manager.
∎ Interested to work in remote areas
∎ Motorcycle driving and have valid driving license
∎ Computer operation especially in MS Office
∎ Internet browsing
∎ Prepare monthly and quarterly report as per requirement of the Head Office and donors.
Salary:
∎ Probation Period: 6 (Six) months.During the probation period, it will be Tk.29,396/- and after confirmation, it will be Tk. 36,745/-.
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Monthly mobile bill, fuel for motorcycle, free single accommodation will be provided and as per organizational service rules, staffs will be provided with yearly 3 bonus, CPF after successfully completion of the probation period and also will get gratuity facilities (After 5 years completion of the service period, 1 basic per year, after 10 years- 2 basic per year and after 15 years-3 basic per year.)
