Educational Requirements:
∎ Completed university degree in Medical science (MBBS) with post-graduate qualification (FCPS, MD, Diploma) on Anesthesiology from an accredited academic institution.
∎ Good in written communication in English and Bangla.
∎ Computer skills in MS Word, Excel and Power Point will be a plus point.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Under the technical supervision of UNICEF's Health Section at Cox's Bazar, and in collaboration with the authority of assigned UHCs, CS-Office and relevant government institutions, each Anesthetist will undertake the following tasks:
∎ Work as a specialist doctor in managing gynecological and obstetric cases, especially those are being referred from the UH&FWC/USC, CC and Community with necessity of Surgical Procedure.
∎ Assist the doctors with the ward rounds and post-operative cases in the NSU.
∎ Perform Anesthesia during Caesarean operations, both as scheduled/elective and emergency operations.
∎ Diagnose and monitor the vital signs and symptoms with particular attention.
∎ Support and mentor, Medical Officers, Nurses and other mid-level healthcare professionals.
∎ Provide obstetric care to the patients admitted in the inpatient wards performing roster duties as and when needed to cover 24/7 services.
∎ Assist to prepare periodic reports and other requests for information as required.
∎ Follow the daily checklist for ensuring all medical supplies are properly.
∎ Active engagement with referral and management of transportation for the patients to higher facilities as required.
∎ Coordinate with data entry operators to collect medical information and other details into DHIS2 with maintaining confidentiality.
∎ Perform such other relevant duties assign by the line manager and supervisor
∎ Maintain functional relation with and accountability to the in-charge of the respective Upazila Health Complex (UHC)

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least two years of experience in relevant areas
∎ Knowledge and experience with working in the field of public health will be an added advantage.
∎ Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with the Core Values; Care, Respect, Integrity, Trust and Accountability; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with people of diverse cultural and national backgrounds.
∎ Well-developed skills in personal organization, priority setting, problem solving and writing; Strong client orientation and service approach with personal commitment, efficiency, flexibility, and drive for results.

Salary:
∎ BDT 275,000 per month (TAX will be deducted at source)
