MTB Capital Ltd is seeking a highly analytical and forward-thinking professional for the position of Analyst / Senior Analyst – R&D. The incumbent will be a key member of the Research & Development team within the Capital Market division, responsible for conducting in-depth market research, analyzing financial instruments, monitoring market trends, and supporting the development of innovative investment strategies and financial products. This role requires a solid foundation in finance, economics, or quantitative analysis, a passion for capital markets, and a drive to explore new opportunities for growth and value creation. The right candidate will demonstrate intellectual curiosity, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develops and improves products, services, or business models aligned with market needs.

• Conducts in-depth studies on industry trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities.

• Works closely with marketing, operations, IT, portfolio unit, investment banking unit, compliance, and finance to align R&D efforts with business goals.

• Performs in-depth qualitative and quantitative research on capital market trends, macroeconomic factors, and sector-specific developments.

• Evaluates various financial products including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and alternative investments to support strategy development.

• Stays updated on capital market regulations, compliance requirements, and global financial developments impacting the market.

• Gathers, cleans, and analyzes large datasets from multiple sources to identify patterns, trends, and investment opportunities.

• Collaborates with portfolio managers, risk analysts, and product development teams to support new initiatives and decision-making processes.
