Job Responsibility:
- Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet sales and demand forecasts.
- Ensure the optimal utilization of resources to achieve production targets.
- Oversee the maintenance and operation of machinery and equipment to minimize downtime.
- Monitor production efficiency and suggest process improvements to reduce costs and enhance productivity.
- Manage day-to-day feed mill operations, ensuring adherence to SOPs and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure the availability of raw materials and minimize wastage.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational excellence.
- Ensure all products meet quality standards, including nutritional value, safety, and compliance with legal regulations.
- Collaborate with the Quality Control team to implement quality management systems.
- Investigate and resolve production-related quality issues.
- Lead, train, and motivate production and operational staff to achieve organizational goals.
- Develop a performance-driven culture through regular feedback and performance reviews.
- Identify skill gaps and facilitate training programs to enhance team capabilities.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with environmental and industrial regulations.
- Conduct regular audits to identify and mitigate risks.
- Maintain records for regulatory bodies and internal audits.
- Analyze production data and trends to recommend improvements.
- Implement lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and adopt new technologies for operational efficiency.
- Any other task assigned by management.
