• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (International Business, Finance or related subject)

• Master’s degree (MBA or relevant) will be considered additional qualification.

• Professional training / certification in Export Management, Foreign Trade Policy, Incoterms, International Logistics or equivalent is a plus.

• Age 40 to 55 years

• Minimum 12-15 years’ experience in export operations & management; experience with manufacturing companies is strongly preferred.

• Direct experience exporting manufactured goods (Float glass and footwear products-shoe & sandal) to foreign markets with exposure to documentation, customs, shipping, export incentives.

• Prior work in roles having negotiation with overseas customers, handling LCs / foreign payments, working knowledge of international trade compliance.

• Experience managing a team and coordinating cross-functional departments for delivery and quality compliance.

• Strong understanding of Bangladesh’s export policy, customs & export regulations.

• Knowledge of international shipping, freight forwarding, logistics channels, packaging and quality standards for export.

• Excellent communication skills (English especially), negotiation skills, customer-oriented mindset.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; exposure to ERP / export documentation software / logistics tracking tools.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines under pressure.

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Job Context: Nasir Group — a leading diversified industrial conglomerate of Bangladesh, seeks a dynamic and experienced professional for its Export Department at Head Office. The mentioned position will be responsible for managing and expanding export of manufactured goods (especially Float Glass & Footwear-shoe & sandal ) to international markets, ensuring compliance with export & trade regulations, handling logistics, documentation, customer relations, and promoting growth in foreign sales.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the export strategy for Nasir Group’s manufactured goods (with emphasis on Float glass & footwear products-shoe & sandal) to international markets; identify, pursue and source new markets, distributors, agents, buyers.
• Manage export order lifecycle: from customer inquiry & quotation, contract negotiation, sample approvals, quality standards, to shipment.
• Oversee all export documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, insurance, phytosanitary or required product certificates) and compliance with trade regulations, INCOTERMS, foreign trade policy, and customs/export authority requirements.
• Liaise with Production, Quality Control, Packaging to ensure products meet export-specifications, standards and packing requirements of various foreign markets.
• Coordinate with Freight Forwarders, Shipping Lines, Customs, Ports and relevant authorities to ensure timely and cost-efficient shipment of export goods.
• Manage export finance aspects: letters of credit (LC), payment terms, foreign currency receipts, risk mitigation (insurance, payment instruments).
• Monitor export costs (freight, insurance, duty drawback, export incentives) and work to optimize cost-effectiveness.
• Maintain awareness of international market trends, foreign regulations, competitor products, pricing and ensure competitiveness in quality and pricing.
• Build and maintain relationships with overseas buyers, agents, quality assurance bodies, trade councils and participate in trade fairs / exhibitions as needed.
• Prepare export forecasts, sales reports, performance metrics; track shipment schedules, lead times, on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure export compliance with Bangladesh Export Policy, Customs regulations, foreign market import regulations; manage any export audits or inspections.
