Educational Requirements:
∎ An advanced university degree (preferably Masters) in Public Relations / Mass Communication & Journalism / Public Health/English / Public Administration or relevant Social Sciences.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide proactive and demand driven advice and support to staff and stakeholders on advocacy practice; in a manner to empower and build capacity as well as securing advocacy gains
∎ Ensure that programme based advocacy staff and stakeholders have a sound understanding of how to identify and tackle advocacy issues within their activities, through providing effective training, knowledge and resources.
∎ Work closely with the Project Focal and Project Coordinator to ensure that the programmes benefit from best practice and effective advocacy tools; and are able to contribute to learning in their areas.
∎ Planning, design and conduct project based training courses.
∎ Share knowledge and ensure clear understanding of current advocacy tools and techniques, including stakeholder mapping, prioritization tools and emphasis on pro poor advocacy processes among staff.
∎ Ensure research on the effectiveness of advocacy tools is undertaken and fed back into advocacy activities.
∎ Participate actively in team planning and other meetings, working to set common objectives and goals and striving to ensure these are successfully achieved.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Sound knowledge on Advocacy tools, technique and training services
∎ Sound knowledge on Operating Computer and use of Standard analytical software application (Microsoft Office application/Database Programming , Access, PowerPoint, SPSS, etc)
∎ At least 3 years of experience in Rights & Governance on the relevant areas.
∎ The applicants should have knowledge on different national policy, acts, strategy, acts related to water, sanitation & hygiene, health, local governments, City Corporation, human rights etc
Salary: Tk. 30000 (Monthly)
