Education:

• Bachelor/Honors
• Masters
• North South University,BRAC University,American International University Bangladesh,East West University,Independent University, Bangladesh students will get preference

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Education, International Relations, Business, or a related field from top Public, Private and foreign universities.

• Counselor Training Certification from British Council, ICEF will be a plus

Additional Requirements:

• Age 25 to 35 years

• Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in education and migration counseling, with a demonstrated track record of placing students and professionals in institutions/migration abroad.

Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Deep understanding of international education systems, visa procedures, and migration opportunities, especially for destinations like Australia, Canada the USA, the UK and EU countries
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience in managing and mentoring a team of counselors.
• Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English (IELTS/TOEFL certification is a plus).
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead a team, provide mentorship, and manage client relationships effectively.
• The Candidate must have extensive knowledge of global education systems and visa regulations and demonstrate proven leadership in team supervision, strategic planning for student recruitment, and experience in handling complex cases with high ethical and professional standards.

Edex Global Nexus, a premier Education and Migration consulting firm based in Dhaka, is seeking Admission & Visa Counselors (Senior Position) to lead our counseling team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to drive the success of our clients’ educational and migration journeys while contributing to the growth of the organization.

Responsibilities & Context

• Provide one-on-one counseling to students on study opportunities in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, USA, UK, Europe & other destinations.

• Explain admission requirements, tuition fees, scholarships, and visa processes in detail.

• Submit applications to foreign universities and ensure all documents are accurate and complete.

• Guide students through visa applications, document preparation, and interview training.

• Stay updated on immigration policies, visa rules, and university admission trends for key study destinations.

• Conduct daily calls, emails, and follow-ups with prospective students to convert leads into enrollments.

• Represent the company at education fairs, seminars, and webinars to attract new students.

• Use social media, phone, and face-to-face meetings to provide counseling.

• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on counseling and admissions progress.

• Assist management with strategic planning, market research, and business development.

• Handle student grievances and provide post-admission support.

• Provide support and guidance to junior counselors, assisting with their professional development

• Ensure compliance with relevant immigration and education laws and standards

• Perform any other tasks assigned by senior management.
