∎ CA-CC/ ACCA from any reputed firm.

Tax (VAT/ Customs Duty/ Income Tax), Tax and VAT

∎ Sonic (Bangladesh) Limited, a leading Toys Manufacturing Company in Uttara EPZ with 4000 workforce and headquarter based in Hong Kong, is looking for a Tax & VAT expert to join our company for further expansion.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Must have sufficient knowledge in TAX & VAT and other related activities.
∎ Filing Income Tax Return and withholding Tax Return and submit it to authority.
∎ Ensure Tax and VAT deduction at sources as per income Tax ordinance & VAT Act.
∎ Maintain liaison with Govt. Office for working Tax & VAT related Assessment.
∎ Face Audit Tax & VAT personnel and produce require documents.
∎ Train team members on changes of Tax and VAT laws.
∎ Carry out stock taking at the end of each month and at the end of financial year.
∎ RJSC related works like company formation, share transfer, allotment and filling annual return.
∎ Attend hearing with The DCT, Appellate & Appellate Tribunal and ADR for finalization of assessment.
∎ Review all financial records, systems and control process of the company as per accounting standards and prevailing Taxes laws.
∎ Deliver a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within time frame.
∎ Identify and mitigate tax risks.
∎ Review the Audited Financial Statements in the light of Income Tax Ordinance, 1984 with a view to reduce the dis allowances.
∎ Manage tax provision and tax compliance process.
∎ Manage and coordinate tax audits with Tax authorities and Lawyers.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 38 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Required Vast Knowledge of Tax, VAT, Audit System, Company Law, Customs law etc.
∎ Should have Knowledge of local laws on Account, Finance & Tax procedure.
∎ Good computer skill (MS Office and familiar with accounting software like Tally, ERP etc.)
∎ Applicants from Rangpur religion will get preference.
