Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly capable and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate must be a graduate of the University of Dhaka, Department of Accounting, with strong fluency in English and a solid understanding of financial operations in a service-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate accounting records of all financial transactions.
Handle accounts receivable and payable; monitor invoices, collections, and payments.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Assist in budget preparation, expense tracking, and variance analysis.
Process payroll and maintain proper salary records.
Perform bank reconciliations and ensure proper cash flow management.
Ensure timely preparation and submission of tax and VAT returns.
Support external audit processes and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Prepare financial statements and support management in financial decision-making.
Communicate with international partners regarding invoicing, payments, and reconciliations.
