∎ As the Finance and Accounts Manager for our head office in Dhaka, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting activities within the organization. You will play a crucial role in ensuring regulatory compliance, managing financial operations, analyzing financial data, and providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making. Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
∎ Manage and supervise the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, payroll, and financial reporting.
∎ Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide accurate and timely financial information to the management team.
∎ Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with tax and financial reporting obligations.
∎ Monitor cash flow, banking activities, and ensure proper cash management procedures are in place.
∎ Perform regular financial analysis and provide recommendations for cost control, revenue enhancement, and overall financial performance improvement.
∎ Maintain and strengthen internal controls and processes to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
∎ Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns, including VAT, income tax, and other statutory obligations.
