Job Context:
∎ The Accounts Officer for Ensuring Sustainable Access to WASH for the Most Vulnerable Rural Communities in Cox Bazar project will ensure compliances with MoFA Japan`s finance and administrative policies, standards, procedures and government VAT & Tax requirements and related compliances of WV. Responsibility for overall management and delivery of business plan and promote common policies and practices. Ensure and maintain day-to-day financial control, manage project administration, ensure that all finances are properly administered and monitored, ensure standard record keeping and process payment. Furthermore, maintain financial documents and ensure safety and security of documents, information and other resources. Maintain the inventory lists of fixed & non-fixed assets of the office and conduct actual physical verification of fixed assets towards the end of each fiscal year. Maintain confidentiality, safety and security of financial and administrative documents and reports. Responsible for record keeping and assist the Finance and Admin Officer and Grants Finance Manager (Shared from WVB NO) in financial planning, budgeting & submission of necessary reports.
∎ This MOFA funded projects duration is 3 years.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure compliances with WV and donor financial policies, standards, procedures and government VAT & Tax requirements.
∎ Assist in maintaining effective internal control in the financial management of project.
∎ Ensure standard record keeping and process payment.
∎ Maintain financial documents and ensure safety and security of documents, information and other resources.
∎ Assist efficient of resources allocation, ensure good financial result in plan and forecast.
∎ Maintain quality, accuracy and consistency of financial work.
∎ Ensure quantity of input supports and handout materials and project logistics.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 28 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Understand WV operation at program level.
∎ Understand the vision and mission of World Vision.
∎ Understand the Humanitarian industry.
∎ Basic knowledge and skills in accounting.
∎ Good time management and organizational skills.
∎ Competent in the use of computer.
∎ Ability to speak and write reports in English.
∎ At least 2 year of extensive experience in the field of accounting.
∎ Should live in the project working area and fieldwork is expected.
∎ Ready to accept the challenge and ability to work under stressful situation.
∎ This role will work directly with Project Manager and other project staff.

Salary: Tk. 40000 - 45000 (Monthly)
