Responsibilities & Context:
Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, such as income statements and balance sheets.
Staff Supervision: Hire, train, and mentor accounting staff, delegating daily tasks and reviewing their work for accuracy.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop company budgets and financial forecasts to monitor spending and guide future financial planning.
Operations Oversight: Manage daily accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and payroll processing.
Compliance & Internal Controls: Establish internal controls to prevent fraud and ensure all accounting processes align with GAAP, tax laws, and other financial regulations.
