Responsibilities & Context:
At Star Go Fly, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Accountant to manage our financial operations. You'll be resoponsible for all day to day transactions and accounts management in compliance of our travel agency.
Responsibilities:
* Manage all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
* Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
* Keep track of all air tickets sold, payable, paid, and adjusted amounts.
* Reconcile bank statements and other financial records.
* Manage payroll and ensure timely payment of salaries.
* Prepare and file all necessary tax returns and ensure compliance with local regulations.
* Provide financial reports and insights to management.
Requirements:
* Must be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with a valid certification.
* Proven experience working as an Accountant, specifically within a travel agency is essential.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
* Proficiency in accounting software Traacs and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Needs to be a religious person with good faith, and must be compliant with daily 5 times prayers.
