Responsibilities & Context:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the healthcare sector (Hospital, Clinic, Diagnostic Center, or Doctors’ Chamber). The Accountant will oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensure compliance with regulations, and support management through accurate reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Manage patient billing, collections, and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Prepare and verify invoices, payments, and staff payroll.
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor daily cash flow.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with tax laws, statutory regulations, and healthcare industry standards.
Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
Assist management in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
