Responsibilities & Context:
Job Context
Sara Hospital & Diagnostic is seeking skilled and compassionate Phlebotomists to join the healthcare team. The selected candidates will be responsible for safe and accurate collection of blood samples from patients of all age groups, including newborn babies and elderly patients, while maintaining high standards of care and hygiene.
Job Responsibilities
Collect blood and other specimen samples from patients with proper technique.
Must have ability and experience in collecting samples from one-day-old newborn babies and elderly/critical patients.
Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and safe handling of specimens.
Prepare samples for laboratory testing.
Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of phlebotomy equipment.
Follow infection control and hospital safety guidelines.
Provide compassionate support to patients during sample collection.
Assist in report delivery and coordination with lab staff.
