∎ Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance, Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Finance & Banking, Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting
∎ Graduated from any UGC-approved university in Bangladesh. Preferred subjects: BBA (Accounting, Finance, Finance and Banking, Banking, Accounting and information systems).

∎ Age 23 to 35 years
∎ At least 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in Ed-Tech or IT-enabled business.
∎ Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, etc) and advanced Excel skills.
∎ Must be honest, diligent and responsible.
∎ High level of integrity and commitment to ethical financial practices.
∎ Strong communication and time management skills.
∎ Ability to work independently and under pressure.
∎ Must possess analytical skills and ability to prepare reports on a routine basis.
∎ Responsible for accounts and financial management.
∎ Ability to handle regular amounts of data & function.
∎ Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
∎ Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and VAT-tax regulations.
∎ Must have attention to detail and analytical ability.
∎ Have knowledge about product costing and budgeting for best sales and customer acquisition.
∎ Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and VAT-tax regulations.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Analyze cost data to identify areas of cost savings and efficiency improvements. Preparing of Annual & Periodical Budgets as per Management Requirements.
∎ Assessing the financial risk of the organization to ensure sustainable growth.
∎ Develop standard procedures for Financial Processes.
∎ Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards.
∎ Assist in the preparation of tax returns and audits.
∎ Provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports.
∎ Implement and update daily cash book, material, stock register, and other registers to maintain accurate financial records. Monitor cash flow and manage short-term liquidity.
∎ Prepare and maintain accurate cost reports, forecasts, budgets and budget variance. Establish budgetary control through pre-costing analysis.
∎ Conduct cost-benefit analysis as and when required to assist in making management decisions regarding current and proposed project proposals & capital budgeting etc.
∎ Summarizing the current financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheets profit and loss statements and other reports.
∎ Prepare and present financial reports for management review. Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring that all documentation and financial data are readily available and accurate. Provide accurate and timely reporting on the financial activity of individual projects.
∎ Facing external audit, internal audit, audit of Bangladesh Bank, NBR (Tax and VAT) and other Legislation bodies.
∎ Assist with preparing, reviewing, and verifying purchase/sales orders, vendor invoices, and related documentation. Confirm authorization of transactions and maintain organized purchase and sales files, including preparing registers.
∎ Coordinate daily transactions with banks, maintain the bank book and chequebook, and ensure all financial activities are aligned with company protocols.
∎ Maintain customer confidentiality and protect operations by keeping financial information confidential.
∎ Duty: Modality - Full-Time (Saturday to Thursday; 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM)
∎ Brief About the Role: The Accountant will play a vital role in managing the financial operations of the company. They are responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, processing invoices, and handling payroll. The role also involves managing budgets, conducting financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations and tax laws.
