Responsibilities & Context:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial operations for our architecture, interior design, and construction consultancy projects under DDAML (Dhaka Designer Asset Management Limited).

Responsibilities:

• Record all office and project-related expenses daily

• Maintain petty cash, utility bills, rent, and overhead cost records

• Track and categorize expenses by project and by office operations

• Handle bank transactions and maintain bank reconciliation

• Prepare quotations, invoices, and money receipts for all projects

• Maintain complete billing records from quotation to final payment

• Follow up on outstanding client payments

• Maintain individual cost sheets per project (materials, labor, contractor payments)

• Track project budgets vs. actual expenses and flag overruns

• Manage vendor and supplier payments with proper documentation

• Prepare monthly financial summaries (income, expenses, profit/loss)

• Prepare project-wise financial summaries at milestones and completion

• Provide regular cost updates and cash flow forecasts to line manager

• Prepare VAT/AIT deduction challans as required

• Keep financial documentation audit-ready

Daily food allowance provided. 5-10% yearly increment based on performance. Probation period is 2 months with starting salary of BDT 30,000, after which salary becomes BDT 35,000.
