Job Context:
∎ Bangladesh Nazarene Mission is inviting applications from qualified candidates for the Climate Resilient Sustainable Livelihood (CRSL) Project in the Southern parts (Mongla-Bagerhat) of Bangladesh. The requirements for the positions are given below:
Job Responsibilities:
∎ 1. Perform the project’s financial transection/activities following organizational finance policy;
∎ 2. Collect bills, vouchers and other financial documents relevant for project accounts;
∎ 3. Input financial data to the accounting software (Tally 9) according to the Head Office instruction;
∎ 4. Ensure the Tax/VAT calculation, deduction as per NBR rules and timely deposited those to Treasury;
∎ 5. Prepare and submit financial report timely;
∎ 6. Administer all cash advances to employees and partners, reconciling all receipts and remaining cash at month’s end
∎ 7. Provide support to Project Coordinator with regard to financial policies/practices and related areas
∎ 8. Ensure contracts are current on all rental properties, facilities, and vehicles
∎ 9. Prepare and submit month-end reports to Dhaka Service office in a timely manner.
∎ 10. Maintain different types of register and update regularly. (e.g. salary, cash, stationary, grocery)
∎ 11. Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor/authority
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ b. Good command both in English & Bangla;
∎ c. Requires knowledge of using personal computers including Microsoft Office Application;
∎ d. Willing to stay field office area.
∎ e. Have experience to run Accounting Software of Tally.
∎ f. Have capacity to calculate VAT and Tax.
Salary: Tk. 21000 (Monthly)
