• Proven experience working as an Accountant, specifically within a travel agency is essential.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software especially Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Context: At Cholojai (a sister concern on Akashbari Holidays), we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Accountant to manage our financial operations. You'll be responsible for all day to day transactions and accounts management in compliance with our travel agency.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Keep track of all air tickets sold, payable, paid, and adjusted amounts.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial records.
• Manage payroll and ensure timely payment of salaries.
• Prepare and file all necessary tax returns and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Provide financial reports and insights to management.
