Responsibilities & Context:
Solar EPC Development Ltd., is looking for a detail-oriented Executive Accountant with strong knowledge of Bangladesh tax laws, including VAT, to manage accounting tasks such as financial record-keeping, payroll, payment processing, and inventory management. The role also involves coordinating with Chartered Accountant firms and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Tax Compliance:
a) Maintain strong knowledge of Bangladesh tax laws and regulations, including VAT.
b) Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws, including timely submission of tax returns and VAT documentation.Financial Record Keeping:
a) Maintain the Petty Cash Book/Lesser Book accurately.
b) Record and reconcile daily financial transactions.Payroll Management:
a) Manage payroll processing, ensuring accurate calculation and timely disbursement of monthly salaries.
b) Open and manage employees' salary bank accounts.External Coordination:
a) Report financial information to the Chartered Accountant firm whenever required.
b) Assist with the preparation and completion of the yearly audit.Payment Processing:
a) Manage payment collections and recovery from clients.
b) Disburse payments to vendors, suppliers, and laborers as per agreed terms.Inventory Management:
a) Maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring alignment with financial records.
b)Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy.·
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Maximum 2 years of experience in Tax, VAT compliance, Audit, Payroll.
Experience with tally software and Excel.
Technically Sound.
