Apollo Hospitals Dhaka is a joint project of Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited and STS Holdings Limited (STS Group).

Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited is the leading private sector healthcare provider in Asia. It owns and manages a network of speciality hospitals and clinics, a chain of pharmacy retail outlets across India, and provides consultancy services for commissioning and managing the speciality hospitals.

STS Group is one of the largest corporate houses in Bangladesh with a view to providing international standard education and healthcare services with the help of participating local and foreign sponsors. Shanta Group, Tropica Group and Sepal Group, together with Sino Lanka (Pvt.) Ltd. of Sri Lanka, jointly formed STS Group. STS Group comprises of two companies: STS Holdings Limited and STS Education Group Limited. STS Holdings Limited is the promoter of Apollo Hospitals Dhaka.

STS Group owns International School Dhaka (a leading international school in Bangladesh, offering the full IB curriculum) under management of Council of International Schools, a global organization facilitating education with headquarters in the UK. The Group also owns DPS-STS School Dhaka, managed by Delhi Public School (DPS) Society, a pioneer in education which has founded and runs 139 schools in 11 countries worldwide. Aside from education and healthcare, STS Group is also engaged in banking, real estate, manufacturing and export, freight consolidation, container services, etc.
