Job Responsibilities:
∎ ADMINISTRATIVE FUNCTION:
∎ Heading the assigned Purchase Category of Goods & Services.
∎ Guiding and Mentoring the team of people for ensure Sourcing, Ordering, Procurement and Supply of all items of a given Purchase Category (Medical & Surgical Consumables).
∎ Spend Optimization of Purchase Category - by lowering cost, controlling consumption, delivering value of reducing supply risk, managing better supplier relations, pursuing innovation, leveraging technology, improving staff competency, etc.
∎ Assist Internal and External Audit Interventions in all desired manners.
∎ Keep abreast with all matters relating to import control and government regulations for procurement of imported supplies.
∎ Ensure pre-requisite compliance of all Statutory and Regulatory requirements for Sourcing, Supplier on-boarding, Transporting, Storing and handling of the procured items.
∎ Establish standard procedures in issuing public contracts, service contracts ensuring legal safeguard for the company.
∎ MATERIAL PURCHASE:
∎ Ensure materials are purchased at the right quality, price, time and quantity.
∎ To achieve savings in terms of procurement value.
∎ Ensure materials operating result of the purchase category
∎ VENDOR RELATIONS:
∎ Develop reliable source of supply. Operate with small but effective vendor base.
∎ Develop vendors and review their rating so that reliability is adequately guaranteed.
∎ Ensure that credible loyalty is maintained among suppliers for the hospital.
∎ TRAINS EMPLOYEES FOR IMPROVED FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE:
∎ Measures the performance level of employees in both quantifiable and qualitative manners.
∎ Coaches and supervises subordinates to perform better.
∎ Delegate routine jobs in due manner.
∎ Assesses training needs of the employees in Materials Department.
∎ COMMUNICATES AHD'S MATERIALS RELATED INFORMATION AND REPORTS TO BOTH INSIDE AND OUTSIDE PEOPLE CONCERNED:
∎ Maintains good vendor relationship with proper acidulation in price negotiation.
∎ Analyzes and forwards Comparative Statement review to higher authority.
∎ Assists Human Resources Department in conducting Training on developed Material Management for employees.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ 10 years experience in various scopes of Supply Chain Management, with recent 3 years in People Manager role. Working Experience in Sourcing and Procurement in any corporate hospital would be preferred.
∎ Hands-on in MS Excel, Power Point, MS Outlook
∎ Hands-on in ERP System and Supply Chain Modules
∎ Capex Procurement and Import Buying will be a plus
∎ Familiar with WhatsApp, Viber, etc closed group communications.
Salary: Negotiable
