Job Context:
∎ Currently Bangladesh Red Crescent Society is looking for suitable Bangladeshi candidate for the following position of its Bhasanchar Operation:
∎ Project Name Bhasanchar Operation (BCO)
∎ Job Nature: Contractual
∎ Duration of Contract: 06 months (with possibility of extension subject to satisfactory performance and availability of fund)
∎ Reportable To: Deputy Director & Coordinator-Bhasanchar Operation
∎ Duty Station: Bhasan Char, Hatiya, Noakhali
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for implementing and Monitoring of wash activities at field.
∎ Monitor and supervise the activities of field team in terms of proper implementation of wash activities.
∎ Build a communication chain to collect the information of damaged wash infrastructures
∎ Monitor the wash infrastructures of catchment area and take quick initiative to repair in terms of damaged infrastructures.
∎ Ensure clean drainage system at catchment areas
∎ Supervise the team to collect wastage of drainage and throw it to the place of central waste management
∎ Supervise the disinfection activity for mosquito at catchment areas
∎ Support the distribution team to distribute Hygiene Items at Bhasan Char FDMN settlement
∎ Ensure proper sectoral reporting and documentation
∎ Liaison and negotiate with RRRC authority and other relevant actors.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age Limit 35 years (Age limit will be relaxed in case of potential candidates)
∎ Minimum 3 years of working experience in relevant field.
∎ Vast knowledge on Water treatment, Sanitation & Hygienic issues.
∎ Trained NDWRT member of BDRCS will get preference.
∎ Excellent in English & Bengali communication.
∎ Very good in Computer operation.
∎ Experience in camp level deployment.
∎ Excellent interpersonal skills and able to work effectively in a team and respects opinions of others.
∎ Able to works well under stress and works well with deadlines.
Salary: Tk. 51350 (Monthly)
