Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters/Bachelor’s degree in Science, civil engineering, Social science, Environmental science, MPH or a related degree. The advanced international degree will get preference.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure WASH Standards; maintaining and support smooth coordination of Zonal focal points with camp management, community leaders and other key stakeholders to monitor WASH needs
∎ Assist the Camp focal points in their area of operation to coordinate all WASH partners to ensure an integrated package of services is being provided to all.
∎ Provide timely reports to WASH Sector Coordinators; including response updated and ad hoc reports as needed.
∎ Ensure the ownership of all pre-existing WASH facilities, their decommissioning, rationalization, operation and maintenance either by getting the installing agency to take it on, through direct intervention or through their partners if required.
∎ Coordinate with other sectors and partners for any rapid response (disease outbreak/landslide/other) required within their operational area.
∎ Perform field level visits to implement correct follow up of the procedures with quality and accuracy
∎ Follow up on WASH construction issues and general WASH infrastructure control.
∎ Based on need, support Site management and Camp in Charge (CIC’s) at the camp level to ensure smooth service delivery in collaboration with the WASH implementing agencies within the operation area.
∎ Carry out the security issues in all level.
∎ Strengthen relationship with GOs, NGOs, UN Clusters, ISCG & other stakeholders and ensure proper service delivery.
∎ Support Camp Focal agency to alert relevant sector coordinators (CCCM, WASH. Health, Shelter, Nutrition
∎ Support Camp Focal Agency to alert relevant sector coordination
∎ Ensured necessary WASH Project support to refugee and host community
∎ Facilitated Water Safety Plan training/orientation at camp and host community level
∎ Facilitated capacity building of community volunteers by coaching, training, workshop, and orientation on water coordination
∎ Ensure process of integrated WASH planning within different agencies.
∎ Supervised and monitored the community volunteers in program implementation services.
∎ Facilitate programs to promote convention of the rights of child/child protection policy on children with especially difficult circumstances disabled people in the community.
∎ Community empowered through project activities
∎ Develop and use different BCC material/guidance note for community level activities.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Adequate knowledge on drinking water quality, surface and ground water facilities.
∎ Data analysis and management
∎ Water sample collection and analysis
∎ Ability to work in hard to reach and vulnerable communities
∎ Oral and written communication skills in English and Bengali
∎ Ability to work in a team
∎ Work under pressure and can take additional responsibilities
∎ Basic computer literacy using of Microsoft Office Microsoft Word, Excel & MS PowerPoint
∎ At least 02-year working experience in the development sector especially the WASH sector
∎ 50% field visit in the working area is expected
∎ Good working relationship among special projects in the working area.
∎ Quality service ensured to the project partners/community/local government.
∎ This role will work directly with the community in respective project and other stakeholders
∎ Child and mother friendly environment exits in the project work places.
