∎ NESL now invites applications from competent candidates for the post of Warehouse Assistant for employment with our prospective clients working in oil and gas industry.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Physically receive incoming shipments, unload from the truck, dismantle, check and ensure 3-way matching as per PR/PO/packing list/delivery challan. Arrange communication for QA/QC & ensure Engineering Inspection Record (EIR) for the new item(s). Issue the materials to respective customer per SO/WO. Keep track of direct charge materials through excel file. Update the JDE system according to Inventory & Spare Parts Management (ISPM) /FIRM process and ensure proper documentation/filling for future reference and auditing support.
∎ Assist material coordinators to coordinate and ensure mitigation of local logistics and transportation issues with internal and external C&F agents.
∎ Take part in Planning Phase Hazard Analysis (PPHA) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) development for every single new job.
∎ Perform day to day material preservation activities & update the record.
∎ Perform day to day cycle count & input in system.
∎ Perform tagging/labeling of every single piece of item, housekeeping of warehouse sheds, reorganizing of materials as per storage location standard.
∎ Collect waste from different locations, segregate and store in proper manner & handover to contractor as per Third party Waste Stewardship (TWS) process.
∎ Contribute to environmental stewardship through timely disposing of scraps (wood, metal, plastic, chemicals, etc.).
∎ Maintain essential documents related to material movement i.e., SO, Sales Transfer (ST), gate pass, cargo manifest, waste manifest, etc.
∎ Take part in daily toolbox meeting and JSA discussion. Work as area controller/ Person Managing Control of Work (PMCoW) to perform lifting/rigging jobs & heavy equipment (forklift, cargo crane and Periodically inspect warehouse sheds, chemical & cylinder sheds and perform mitigative actions.
∎ Manage & handle chemicals & cylinders as per Safety Data Sheet (SDS).
∎ Perform signaling forklift/reach truck/cargo truck/crane operation activities as required for materials shifting.
∎ Operate forklift.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5-7 years of experience in material management/ warehousing preferably in oil & gas field.
