Education:

The candidate must have DVM

-Must be Registered from Bangladesh Veterinary Council

-M Sc in Vet. Medicine/Surgery/Parasitology is preferable

• Experience on large animal treatment & surgery in the field level is preferable

• Knowledge on Veterinary Medicine, Pharmacology, Parasitology, Physiology, Dairy Farm management

• Excellent in work prioritization, time management as well as the ability to adapt to work under pressure and challenging environment

• Must have Communication, analytical ability, problem solving and report writing skill

• Must have using capabilities of MS Office

• Able to work under stress situation

• Prepare budget and plan for producer services/program within the territory

• Ensure society formation, meeting arrangement with the producers, daily contact with farmers

• Identify the farmer’s need and provide emergency service, vaccination, de-worming and to advice farmers about modern dairy farm management

• Execute Breed Development program with pure deep-frozen semen of HF breed to increase milk production of the native cattle

• Maintain monitoring and evaluation of LHSP & AI worker’s activities at the farmer level

• To establish model dairy farm for demonstration and improving quality Milk Production

• Prepare report as per management requirements

• To study random sampling of raw milk from reported Milk Cows to develop different parameter of Raw Milk as well as Quality by advising respective farmer/owner of the cow

• Maintain liaison with local Department of Livestock Services for participating and ensuring Various Cattle development program to improve productivity of Dairy Cattle

• Ensure farmers training on Modern Dairy Technology to establish Model Farm and to enhance the raw milk productivity of Dairy Cows.

• Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment

• Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so

• Perform any other jobs delegated by the supervisor(s)
